APCO CONFERENCE, DENVER - Aug. 22, 2005 - PacketHop, Inc., the leader in mobile mesh networking software and multimedia applications for instant wireless group communication, today announced that it will hold an invitation-only event celebrating the launch of its first products -- the AWARE™ Communications Suite and the Aware™ for Public Safety suite of multimedia applications -- on Monday, August 22 during the APCO International 71st Annual Conference & Exposition at Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies baseball team.

Guests will partake in a search and rescue simulation using the AWARE™ Communications Suite, which is the public safety industry's first autonomous mobile mesh networking solution that provides first responders with standards-based, secure wireless broadband communications with or without infrastructure, and the Aware for Public Safety multimedia application suite, which delivers mission-critical information to first responders via multicast video, white boarding, resource location tracking on localized electronic maps and multimedia instant messaging.

After the search and rescue simulation, attendees will be treated to dinner and drinks at homeplate, followed by tours of the home and away team's dugouts. Finally, attendees will be able to "swing for the fence" and "throw a heater" using Colorado Rockies batting and pitching cages.
