PacketHop Announces Value-added Reseller Program

VAR Program significantly enhances PacketHop's distribution footprint and enables VARs to improve their customers' communications capabilities

REDWOOD CITY, CA - Feb. 6, 2007 - PacketHop, Inc., the leader in instant broadband mobile-mesh networking communications systems, today announced the PacketHop Value-added Reseller (VAR) Program for the public safety and municipal services markets. PacketHop's VARs solve their customers' unique communications challenges based on their regional, technical and specific account expertise. Working with leading VARs enables PacketHop to significantly increase its sales coverage and provide its communications system to various public safety and municipal government agencies.

PacketHop has developed relationships with a number of VARs that successfully deliver advanced communications solutions throughout the United States - including Advanced C4 Solutions (AC4S), ComSerCo Communications, Louisiana Radio Communications (LRC) and Red Cloud Wireless Voice and Data. Additional VARs will be announced in the coming months.

"ComSerCo Communications has developed a reputation for providing its clients with the most robust, highly-integrated communications systems and premier service," said Walter Kadyk, vice president and general manager of ComSerCo Communications. "Leveraging PacketHop, we are now able to provide comprehensive broadband communications solutions that complement our customers' existing voice communications systems and enable them to deliver improved service to their constituencies."

PacketHop provides a software-based, infrastructure-optional mobile-mesh networking communications system. It enables first responders and mobile workers to communicate and exchange information in real-time via multimedia applications, which include real-time multicast video, GPS-enabled resource tracking and mapping, multimedia instant messaging and white boarding.

Since the PacketHop Communications System is software based, and operates on standards-based mobile devices without infrastructure, it provides users with an interoperable communications system that operates anytime, anywhere, at a fraction of the cost of infrastructure-based communications systems. Infrastructure-optional communications systems are critical to government agencies and corporate and private businesses located in areas that frequently experience natural disasters, like hurricanes and tornados. Natural disasters can damage or destroy infrastructure that current communications systems rely on to operate.

"PacketHop is very excited to be working with several of the communications industry's leading VARs," said Michael Howse, president and chief executive officer of PacketHop. "By combining the PacketHop Communications System with the VARs' unique market expertise and service delivery capabilities, we will deliver the industry's most robust system - enhancing end users' capabilities and exceeding their needs."
