PacketHop Mesh Exchange

The PacketHop Mesh Exchange is a platform for outdoor or in-building use. It can be used to enable video surveillance systems where network cabling is unfeasible or expensive, or to connect public safety with private video surveillance networks. It can also be used as a mesh communications router to extend the range and coverage of a PacketHop network. These capabilities enable public and private security to exchange video and other multimedia communications across the network and provide "drive up surveillance" that enables them to "see inside the scene" to improve public and officer safety and more successfully resolve incidents. The Mesh Exchange comes in a rugged, weatherproof pole or building mount enclosure. It also serves as the gateway between the wireless mesh and a wired Ethernet network.

The Mesh Exchange supports multiple radio cards including 4.9 GHz and 802.11. PacketHop DynaMesh software is included in the Mesh Exchange.
