PacketHop System Management Center

The Systems Management Center is the core of each PacketHop Communications System deployment and facilitates numerous vital functions including:

• Security Policy Management: The SMC provides authentication and authorization of users, equipping them with the credentials needed to participate in the PacketHop-enabled autonomous mobile-mesh network.
• IT Management and Administration: The SMC provides secure account management, provisioning, mesh selection for accessing multiple PacketHop mesh networks, logging, configuration setting, maintenance and other IT management tasks. Users, once configured, do not need to have access to the SMC for networking or using the applications.
• Multi-Network Gateway: The SMC serves as a routing gateway to connect and merge two or more mesh networks - enabling interoperability and improving network performance and survivability.
• Internet Gateway: When infrastructure is available, be it via cellular, satellite or WiFi networks, the SMC's firewall and secure tunneling provide users with secure access to the Internet.
