PacketHop Mobile Router

The PacketHop Mobile Router provides mesh connectivity over multiple networks to any device in a vehicle or building. It can be used to deliver intelligent applications that provide both video surveillance and Internet access. The Mobile Router can be used to connect to video cameras to provide visual information from inside a vehicle to pre-authorized observers at remote locations or securely over the Internet.

With a small form-factor, the PacketHop Mobile Router is well designed for high-bandwidth in-vehicle applications. It is ideally suited for attaching to cameras in trains and buses or provide networking by connecting to laptops in public or private security vehicles. It provides mesh connectivity that is optimized for mobile use and video streaming. The Mobile Router supports multiple radio cards including 5 GHz (802.11a) and 4.9 GHz. Cellular data can be supported using an external USB device. The Mobile Router provides the ability to mesh and access backhaul simultaneously. PacketHop DynaMesh software is included in the Mobile Router.
